miele, a café with a view of the sea and a popular tourist spot on Awaji Island, will reopen on Friday, July 11, 2025. Since its opening in 2014, this café has been a favorite of many tourists, families and couples, serving dishes made with fresh Awaji Island ingredients and homemade honey, and has now been transformed into an even more attractive space.

A New Way to Spend Time at Awaji Island Café
The renewal of the restaurant is based on the concept of a “honey café and pizzeria with a view of the sea,” and features new indoor seating on the second floor that can be enjoyed regardless of weather conditions, and terrace seating on the third floor with a view of the Harimanada Sea, where you can relax and enjoy the magnificent view of the west coast of Awaji Island. The location is full of a sense of openness, perfect for a date on Awaji Island.
A Number of Amazing New Items Added on the Menu
In addition to the popular “Pizza with Awaji Island shirasu (white bait)”(shirasu is being poured over a pizza until being stopped!), many gourmet new menu items will be available at this renewal. The “Roman-style Carbonara with Kitasaka Eggs,” using brand eggs from Awaji Island’s Kitasaka Chicken Farm and Awaji Mengyo’s glutinous fresh pasta; café drinks using organic honey; and a variety of body-and mind-friendly dishes that make use of locally produced ingredients, all dished featuring the charm of local ingredients. The menu is also recommended for those who want to enjoy Awaji Island gourmet food.
