Freshly Prepared Vegetable Salad Buffet at Cafe Scuola
The freshly picked vegetable salad buffet is very popular at Cafe Scuola, located on the first floor of Nojima Scuola, a renovated elementary school as well as a touristic spot. The buffet comes with the main course for lunch, but what is surprising is the number of items on it; even if you pick a small portion of each item, there are so many seasonal vegetables on the buffet that it would fill up your plate. The sliced onions, for which Awaji Island is famous, as well as pre-boiled root vegetables and sautéed mushrooms, will satisfy your stomach. This healthy lunch is recommended for those who are concerned about vegetable deficiency. For those living alone or with a small family, it would be extremely difficult to eat this variety of vegetables at home. The homemade onion dressing and other dressings are also popular.

The freshness of vegetables is outstanding, as there is a field right in front of the restaurant. The vegetables from our own farm, produced with our special farming methods, are all delicious and can only be found on Awaji Island. All set lunches include a generous amount of salad and soup, and a choice of main courses include pasta, bagna cauda, and other healthy courses that feature freshly picked vegetables. The sweets are also full of fruit, and many of the dessert items are healthful.

Zenbo Cuisine for Beauty and Health with All Ingredients and Seasonings Carefully Selected
Healthy lunch is served in the program at Zenbo Seinei, where you can experience ZEN. You cannot go there only for lunch, but you can enjoy a special healthy meal that you cannot eat anywhere else during the program. As in the Zen Buddhist cuisine, it is made without sugar, oil, dairy products, flour, or animal products. The seasonings are brewed seasonings made over a period of one to three years. We obtain miso, soy sauce, mirin, and other seasonings directly from the brewery and use seasonings that have not stopped fermenting.

Aonoya, Where You Can Enjoy Elaborate and Healthy Japanese Small Dishes
The Aonoya Gozen Set is an excellent example of Japanese dishes made from seasonal ingredients with careful work and served in a small portion in a set of boxes. This sumptuous lunch includes fresh vegetables, fish tempura, and sushi. All of the ingredients are made with the utmost care, so they are hearty but healthy.
The steamed sushi with sea eel and seafood salad set menu is also recommended for those who want a healthy lunch. It comes with red miso soup and allows you to fully enjoy the seafood of Awaji Island.
