Enjoy the Seaside Restaurant Atmosphere Overlooking the Beautiful Ocean

Having visited this restaurant on numerous occasions in the past, one aspect that never fails to captivate us is its relaxing ambiance, offering panoramic views of the ocean. Awaji Island is known for its picturesque coastal views, making the dining experience all the more enchanting.

As we entered the CRAFT CIRCUS complex, we were greeted by distinctive statues and decor adorning the entrance area, evoking the ambiance of a seaside retreat or tropical island marketplace. Making our way to Craft Kitchen within the complex, our anticipation soared as we laid eyes on the new additions to the menu – the seasonal strawberry pizza and Awaji Blooming Onion!

Dessert pizzas are a specialty among restaurants on the West Coast of Awaji Island, and we were very excited about the prospect of trying a strawberry pizza. Equally interesting was the Awaji Blooming Onion. Popular for its exceptional sweetness and tenderness, Awaji onions are a local treasure, and the opportunity to eat them in the form of a deep-fried whole onion was a prospect we couldn’t resist.

The ocean views, as we mentioned before, are breathtaking. Adding to the charm is the seaside restaurant’s reputation as a nice location for dog lovers. Amidst the serene backdrop of the ocean, we found ourselves surrounded by adorable pups happily nestled beside their owners, creating an atmosphere of pure warmth and joy.

Must-try Unique Foods!

We were very excited as our eagerly anticipated dishes arrived at our table. First up was the Awaji Blooming Onion, its golden exterior has a nice crispness, served alongside a creamy mayonnaise sauce. Then came the seasonal strawberry pizza, a true feast for the eyes. With slices of strawberries and chocolate sauce, crowned with a scoop of matcha ice cream, it was a sight to behold. These culinary creations use a combination of ingredients unlike any other we’d seen before!

First, we tried the blooming onion. We were met with a satisfying crunch that gave way to an unexpected sweetness from the onions. The creamy mayonnaise sauce complemented the crispiness, adding depth and richness to each bite. It was a great balance of flavors and textures that left us thoroughly impressed. Simple yet remarkably delicious, this dish won us over.

The seasonal strawberry pizza took us by surprise with its flavors. The melted matcha ice cream served almost as a sauce, is combined nicely with the rich chocolate sauce, slices of strawberry, and the crispy pizza dough. Each bite was a nice blend of sweet, tangy, and creamy notes. Before we knew it, we had eaten every last bite!

Craft Kitchen’s reputation for excellence extends beyond its innovative seasonal offerings to its classic pizza selections as well. We couldn’t resist sampling some of their standard pizzas, and we were thoroughly impressed by their quality and flavor.

Closing

After eating every last bite of our meal, we settled the bill and were pleasantly surprised to find that it wasn’t as expensive as we had anticipated. Our overall dining experience at Craft Kitchen was nothing short of fantastic. With many culinary delights available at Craft Kitchen, you are invited to try all the amazing dishes at the seaside restaurant while overlooking the beautiful ocean of Awaji Island.
