SENSHINWAHO, a modern Japanese-style inn nestled in the rich nature of Awaji Island, is a special place that proposes a “wellness stay” in a tranquil setting that helps to regulate the body and mind. In the large “Senshin-no-Yu” public bath, guests can soak in a hot spring bath and unwind from the fatigue of daily life, while enjoying a moment of healing in which the body and mind feel in harmony.
The menu is a creative Japanese kaiseki full-course meal that uses an abundance of Awaji Island’s unique mountain and sea products. Under the supervision of chef Nobuaki Fushiki, a fermentation and brewing specialist, the menu is inspired by the ancient culture of “nie” (food like seafood and edible birds), which was offered to the Imperial Court. Each dish is a memorable gastronomic experience where tradition and innovation intersect.
Its scenery, reflecting the nature of Awaji Island and the four seasons, gives visitors a deep sense of the beauty of Japan.
