Nijigen no Mori is an anime theme park located on Awaji Island. Its attractions are based on different aspects of Japanese pop culture, from movies, video games, and, of course, anime. It has become a popular destination since it first opened in 2017, drawing visitors from Japan and abroad.
Within the vast grounds of Nijigennomori Anime Awajishima Park, there are four permanent attraction areas, as well as limited-time events. Step into the worlds of "Naruto," "Godzilla," "Crayon Shinchan," "Dragon Quest,” and more!
The prefectural park itself is free to enter and enjoy without the need to purchase any tickets. Even the parking is free, and the area has more than 1,500 parking spots. Each attraction charges separate entrance fees, allowing you to focus your time and budget on the activities that excite you the most.

Nijigen no Mori Attractions
Nijigen no Mori attractions include “NARUTO & BORUTO Shinobi-Zato," "Godzilla Interception Operation," "Dragon Quest Island," and "Crayon Shinchan Adventure Park."
Attractions based on other famous anime and Japanese pop culture are hosted on a temporary basis, meaning there is always something new and fresh to explore!
NARUTO & BORUTO Shinobi-Zato
"NARUTO & BORUTO Shinobi-Zato" is an attraction area themed around the world of the popular ninja anime "NARUTO" and "BORUTO: NEXT GENERATIONS." Train like a ninja at the three different attraction areas: NARUTO's athletic puzzle-solving activity "Earth Scroll," BORUTO's three-dimensional maze attraction "Heaven Scroll," and the mystery-solving activity "Earth Scroll ~ Gaiden ~."
Ten no Maki (Heaven Scroll)
"Ten no Maki" is a 3-story maze attraction located behind the 11-meter-tall monument "Hokage Rock." Collect the "sign" clues and use ninjutsu to make it through the maze and reach the goal at the top.
Chi no Maki (Earth Scroll)
"Chi no Maki" is a mission rally attraction where you challenge yourself to collect 12 "signs" scattered around the area. The game takes place after the chakra seal was destroyed by a mysterious enemy. Overcome trials to collect the signs, reassemble the broken chakra seal, and solve the mystery plaguing Shinobi Village. A special limited-edition reward awaits you if you are successful with your mission.
Night Illusion “Hokage Rock”
The night illusion "Hokage Rock" is a night-only projection mapping show in which the 11-meter-tall "Hokage Rock" is lit up with images of Naruto characters and light effects. It’s a must-see event while visiting Nijigen no Mori and the perfect end to a great day of adventure!
Ramen at Ichiraku Ramen
Don't forget to stop by and savor a ramen which Naruto loved! As all the fans know, one of the most iconic and heartwarming elements of the anime series is Naruto Uzumaki’s frequent visits to the humble ramen shop, Ichiraku Ramen. Once you cross the Shinobi village’s gate and take a right turn, you will discover a small shop that serves as the real-life Ichiraku Ramen shop. The most popular item is an Ichiraku Ramen (tonkotsu ramen).
Godzilla Interception Operation
"Godzilla Interception Operation ~National Godzilla Awajishima Research Center~" is an attraction area dedicated to the legendary Japanese monster, Godzilla. It is the world's only entertainment attraction dedicated to this iconic monster, including the world’s only permanent Godzilla Museum. Here, you can ride a zipline through a life-size Godzilla! The attraction area is filled with tons of fun, divided into four sections: the "theater," "zipline," "shooting," and "Godzilla Museum."
Theater
Watch a Toho-produced Godzilla film created specifically for this attraction. This unique Godzilla film can only be seen here. The theater is a great area to start, with powerful visuals and a unique story setting the stage for your Godzilla operation adventure.
Zip line
Take your battle against the legendary monster to new heights. Fly down one of two ziplines toward the life-sized Godzilla statue. The “Internal Surveillance Course" takes you into the mouth of the monster itself, while the “Surface Surveillance Course" takes you flying past the monster to get a better view of your opponent and spot any potential external weaknesses.
Shooting
Head to the shooting area and try to take the monster down! The National Godzilla Awajishima Research Center has developed special guns that are able to attack Godzilla’s cells and keep him from growing. Avoid attacks and aim for the high score to help save the island!
Godzilla Museum
This is the world's first permanent Godzilla Museum, where you can learn about the history of the world-famous monster. With unique exhibits and one-of-a-kind artifacts, it’s a must-see for any Godzilla fan or film aficionado!
Dragon Quest Island
Dragon Quest Island is an outdoor RPG (role-playing game) attraction where you become the protagonist of the game “Dragon Quest.” Embark on an adventure that fuses the real and digital world to allow you to step into the famous video game.
Participants can choose their occupation from "Warrior," "Fighter," "Thief," "Wizard," or "Entertainer." Players then set out, armed with their "Adventurer's Sign" guide and "Adventurer's Book," to save the beloved castle town of Onokogard.

Luida's Bar
Luida’s Bar is a familiar watering hole from Dragon Quest. It’s open to everyone, even if you’re not experiencing Dragon Quest Island. The atmosphere is cozy and filled with nostalgic references from the game. Collaboration foods are perfect for your memory and certainly instagrammable!
Story
Onokogard is a land loved by the gods. It has been several hundred years since those who inherited the soul of the hero defeated the great demon lord Zoma.
Since then, people have lived peacefully, with the threat they once faced fading into a distant memory.
That was until the royal family discovered their golden bracelet had been stolen. According to legend, Estark gained a ferocious power after acquiring the golden bracelet and terrorized the world.
Fearing a crisis, the king recruits you and your fellow adventurers to try and retrieve it.

Crayon Shinchan Adventure Park
"Crayon Shinchan Adventure Park" is an attraction area themed around the anime "Crayon Shinchan." Attractions include the Athletic Ropes Course, Zipline, Cardboard Maze, Net Playground, Inflatable "Quantum Robo," and a Crayon Shinchan Museum.
Appare! Great Sengoku Adventure!
"Appare! Sengoku Great Adventure!" is an athletic attraction of rope courses based on the movie Crayon Shinchan: Appare Calling the Storm! Sengoku Great Battle. Scale the fort-like structure and try not to get caught up in Shinchan's mischief!
There are 4 courses with different difficulty levels to choose from. The children's course starts at a height of 1 meter above the ground. Subsequent courses are 3.5m, 4.5m, and 8m above the ground. Everyone from children to adults can enjoy a day of adventure and play at this Crayon Shinchan-themed rope course!
Challenge! Action Mask Flight!
Don your action mask helmet and take flight! “Challenge! Action Mask Flight!” is a zipline attraction with two trips of 225m and 140m. Glide over a lake and try to survive attacks from the Black Mekemeke Gang's giant water guns. Enjoy a thrilling ride worthy of the Action Mask!
Exciting! Hide and Seek Maze in Futaba Kindergarten
"Exciting! Hide and Seek Maze in Futaba Kindergarten" is an area for children that recreates the "Futaba Kindergarten" that Shinchan attends. As new students at Futaba Kindergarten, participants will take on a hide-and-seek mission to find Shinchan and his friends hidden inside a cardboard maze. Aim to become a "hide and seek master" and find them all! There is also a photo spot with all your favorite characters. Enjoy stepping into the world of Crayon Shinchan.
Action Mask Secret Hideout
Action Kamen’s Secret Hideout is a net playground that is 13 meters wide and 4 meters tall. Run through obstacles, find the hidden Kasukabe Defense Force characters, and aim for the top like an Action Mask hero!
Ola's Mess! Buri Buri House
“Ola's Mess! Buri Buri House” is a permanent museum with the motif of Shinchan's familiar "butt." Enjoy Shinchan's world with multimedia exhibits, such as the giant Shinchan "butt balloon" and the "Impressive! Crayon Scene," which looks back on famous scenes from the Crayon Shinchan movies that have been loved for over 30 years.

"Mori no Terrace" is a restaurant that focuses on creative dishes made with local Awaji Island ingredients. Enjoy options such as smoked meat platters, pasta, curry, and gratin (a casserole-like dish).
Get unique collaboration dishes based on the Nijigen no Mori attractions. Enjoy a Godzilla Crème Puff, a King Godzilla Curry, or a Crayon Shinchan lunch set. There are even dishes based on limited-time attractions. These fun, photo-worthy foods can only be found here!

"Luida's Bar" is a tavern-like restaurant located adjacent to Dragon Quest Island. Enjoy creative meals, drinks, and desserts that expand the world of the game "Dragon Quest."
The adorable creations are definitely photo-worthy. This is a great place for adventurers to celebrate at the end of their quest or gather with allies before setting off!

Access to Nijigen no Mori

Arriving by car is simple! Just take the highway across the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge and get off at Awaji IC. From there, you can drive straight to Nijigen no Mori Parking Lot F and enter the park. There is plenty of free parking available!
By public transportation, take any bus that stops at Awaji IC and then continue with the free shuttle bus to Nijigen no Mori. Or take a ferry from Akashi Port to Iwaya Port, where the Free Shuttle Bus begins its route, and ride it all the way to Nijigen no Mori.
Specialty buses also drive direct routes to the park from popular cities like Osaka and Kobe. These buses are not affiliated with Nijigen no Mori.
