Shangri-La is a restaurant by the sea located at Ladybird Road. Shangri-La’s special hot pot “Shangri-La” features carefully selected Awaji Island ingredients in two soups: a white soup based on pork bones and chicken bones, which is slowly cooked with Awaji Island vegetables, and a hot and spicy soup. The hot pot has a gentle flavor, deep richness, and spices made from medicinal herbs, which is gentle on the body. Other than this hot pot, they also serve dim sum dishes!
In celebration of its first year anniversary, Shangri-La at Ladybird Road has launched a special new menu of its popular Island Dim Sum dishes called “Selectable Island Dim Sum Gozen” and “Island Dim Sum Buffet”.

Selectable Island Dim Sum Gozen
The “Selectable Island Dim Sum Gozen” menu includes an appetizer, choice of island dim sum, choice of noodle/rice, and seasonal tofu (soybean curd) pudding. The “Selectable Island Dim Sum” includes a selection of five dim sum dishes from a total of 18 varieties, such as “Awaji Chicken Steamed with Curry” using tender and juicy Awaji chicken, “Steamed Setouchi Sea Bream and Tofu” featuring the gentle flavor of sea bream from the Seto Inland Sea, and dim sum using Awaji Island onions.

Island Dim Sum Buffet
The “Island Dim Sum Buffet” is a menu that includes appetizers (3 kinds), soup, a buffet of island dim sum, and a choice of main dish. The all-you-can-eat buffet includes 12 popular dim sum dishes, such as shrimp dumplings and squid dumplings. For an additional 550 yen, you can upgrade the regular buffet to a total of 18 kinds of all-you-can-eat dishes, including special dim sum dishes made with Setouchi sea bream and Awaji chicken. The “Selectable Main Course” includes spicy and flavorful shrimp with chef’s homemade chili sauce, mapo tofu, and sweet-and-sour pork with black vinegar.
The dim sum buffet is not a buffet which all the dishes are lined up at one corner of the restaurant. You order any and as many out of the menu and dim sum will be served to you.
