Aman no Shokutaku has two floors, and the first floor, known as Utage, specializes in pirate cuisine—a traditional culinary style deeply rooted in Awaji Island’s heritage. Since Awaji Island is also known as the birthplace of Japan, it was said that pirate cuisine solidly represents authentic Japanese cuisine. Sajiki on the second floor features a teppanyaki-style cuisine which a chef cooks right in front of your eyes. The both restaurants place a strong emphasis on locally sourced ingredients, celebrating the rich waters and lush nature of Awaji Island.
This time, a winter-only menu has been introduced at Aman no Shokutaku. For a limited time, they offer menus featuring Awaji three-year tiger blowfish, Ako oysters, Awaji beef, and more.
Awaji Beef Sukiyaki Bowl at Utage
The “Awaji beef sukiyaki bowl” is topped with plenty of Awaji beef, and is a luxurious dish with a plenty of fragrant soup stock. It is even more delicious when you drop the poached egg and eat it with the runny yolk. The price is 2,200 yen, which is a reasonable price to eat Awaji beef, a branded Japanese beef of Awaji Island. This is a hearty dish that will fill up your stomach!
