“NARUTO & BORUTO Shinobi-zato” is an attraction area at Nijigen no Mori on Awaji Island, based on the themes of the popular ninja anime “NARUTO” and the animation “BORUTO NEXT GENERATIONS. Celebrating Naruto Uzumaki’s birthday on October 10, a series of special events for “Naruto Uzumaki Birthday Celebration 2025” has been held at “NARUTO & BORUTO Shinobi-zato.” The latest one, vol. 4, is a photo contest.
Nijigen no Mori is an anime-themed park featuring immersive attractions based on Japanese anime, games, and movie icons such as NARUTO, BORUTO, Dragon Quest, Godzilla and Crayon Shinchan. It also offers limited time attractions based on popular anime and games such as Demon Slayer and Monster Hunter.
Awaji Island located in the Seto Inland Sea is a popular resort island full of beautiful nature, gourmet foods, interesting culture and Japanese mythological history as the birthplace of Japan. The island is just one hour from Osaka and 30 min from Kobe by public transportation, a perfect destination for both a day trip and short term stay during your trip to the Kansai area.

Overview of the Photo Contest
Participants for this contest need to submit a photo of themselves celebrating Naruto’s birthday taken at “NARUTO & BORUTO Shinobi-zato” between October 1st (Wed) and 31st (Fri) to X with the hashtag “#shinobizatonarutobirthday2025.” Shinobi-zato (Ninja Village) staff will select the best photo from the submitted photos, which will be published and presented on the official “NARUTO & BORUTO Shinobi-zato” X page.
Additionally, a selection of congratulatory messages posted on X with the hashtag “#shinobizatonarutobirthday2025” will be displayed on a special banner displayed in the area during the event. Visitors to “NARUTO & BORUTO Shinobi-zato” will also be given space to write their own congratulatory message for Naruto on the banner. Let’s celebrate Naruto’s birthday with Naruto fans all over the world at Shinobi-zato and X!
