Nijigen no Mori is an interactive anime park located in Hyogo Prefectural Awaji Island Park. Awaji Island is a popular resort island located in the Seto Inland Sea, just one hour from Osaka and 30 min. from Kobe by car/public transportations. It is also only one hour by direct ferry from Yumeshima where the Osaka-Kansai Expo is currently being held.
Nijigen no Mori offers a variety of attractions that recreate the world of popular works, such as “NARUTO & BORUTO Shinobizato (Ninja Village),” “Godzilla Intercept Operation,” “Crayon Shinchan Adventure Park,” and “Dragon Quest Island”. The attraction of the park is that visitors can move their bodies to their heart’s content in the rich nature of Awaji Island during the daytime, and enjoy a fantastic space with lights and projection mapping at night. Dragon Quest Island Event Information

Dragon Quest Island on Awaji Island is an interactive attraction located within Nijigen no Mori, a tourist spot where visitors can have a real adventure in the world of the classic game ”Dragon Quest.” Players themselves become the main characters, actually walking through towns, forests, castles, and other areas, fighting monsters and completing quests, and enjoying an experience similar to a real RPG. Visitors can immerse themselves in an extraordinary world of photogenic monsters and enjoy a visually pleasing collaboration menu at the popular “Luida’s Bar”. Children and adults alike will find plenty of tricks to get them hooked, even if they have no knowledge of video games.
Dragon Quest Island Fair, Where You Can Go Crazy with Just 500 Yen!

Dragon Quest Island, a very popular attraction at Nijigen no Mori anime-themed park within the Hyogo Prefectural Awaji Island Park, celebrated its 4th anniversary]on May 15, 2025 (Thursday)! To commemorate this, the attraction is currently holding a 4th Anniversary Thanksgiving Festival. Of particular note is the new “fair area” that has appeared in Onokogarde Castle for a limited time only. Four types of mini-games are available for adults to enjoy for 500 yen each, and the venue is proving to be a great success.

Godzilla Interception Operation Event Information

Godzilla Intercept Operation at Nijigen no Mori on Awaji Island is the world’s first interactive attraction with a life-size Godzilla based on the theme of this iconic monster. Visitors can experience the thrill and immersion of being a “mission member” to battle with the 120-meter-long giant Godzilla in this unique setting. The main attractions include a zip-line experience that plunges you into the body of Godzilla through its mouth and a course that allows you to glide along the surface of its body. In addition, visitors can take on the challenge of fighting off the proliferating Godzilla cells in a shooting attraction that uses a special gun. The facility also houses the Godzilla Museum, where visitors can enjoy special effects materials from the movie and exhibits of successive generations of Godzilla, which are well worth seeing, even if you are not a fan. Limited-edition goods and accommodation plans with a Godzilla-collaborated room are also available, making this a perfect place for a special memory of your travel to Japan!
Simultaneous Start of Zipline for a Two-person Pair is Now Permitted!

Did you know that Awaji Island’s very popular tourist attraction, Nijigen no Mori has a super unique zipline where you can jump into the mouth of a life-size Godzilla? Currently, Godzilla Interception Operation is holding a limited-time event in which two people can start the zipline “Internal Surveillance” course at the same time, which is normally only available for one person at a time.
The zipline is a very thrilling attraction where you can glide through the 120-meter-long body of a life-size Godzilla through its mouth. This special experience is perfect for friends and couples, as they can share the excitement of gliding through the mouth of a life-size Godzilla and even scream together!

Godzilla Quiz Rally for Parents and Children

A limited-time event, “Godzilla Quiz Rally,” is now being held at the popular attraction, Godzilla Interception Operation. This event is full of fun for parents and families, and will be held until June 29, 2025 (Sunday). Children can enjoy a thrilling and exciting quiz rally in which they take the lead in solving riddles related to all 34 Godzilla movies.

NARUTO & BORUTO Shinobizato (Ninja Village) Event Information

NARUTO & BORUTO Shinobizato, located in Nijigen no Mori on Awaji Island, is an attraction where visitors can experience the world of the popular “NARUTO” and “BORUTO” anime series. Visitors can enjoy ninja training, solving riddles, and interacting with the characters in a park full of nature. In “The Heaven’s Scroll (Ten no Maki),” a three-story three-dimensional maze behind the giant Hokage Rock, visitors are challenged to use their brains and bodies to rescue their friends. Naruto’s ramen shop “Ichiraku” and “Konoha Shoten (shop)” featuring original goods are also popular attractions.
Rainy Day Limited Event “NARUTO & BORUTO Shinobizato Samidare (May Rain) Festival 2025”

The long-awaited event “Samidare (May Rain) Festival 2025” started on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at NARUTO & BORUTO Shinobizato. This special event is held only on rainy days and offers the dreamy atmosphere and memorable special experience unique to the world of ninja that can be experienced only in the rain.
Another exciting point of this event is the “Shinobizato Famous Rainy Scene Stickers”, which will be given away only on rainy days. The sticker lineup includes 2024 types from the 6 edition, plus 3 new types, for a total of 9 luxurious designs, including the must-see “Naruto and Sasuke’s tearful scene” that any Naruto fan will want to get their hands on!

Relive the Love and Bond between the Two in “Shinobizato Special Mission #024: Orange Flame Signpost”

A collaboration between “Naruto” and a dramatic mystery-solving game, the high-profile event “Shinobizato (Ninja Village) Special Mission #024: The Orange Flame Signpost (Touka no Michishirube)” is being held until Sunday, July 27, 2025. This special mission stars Naruto’s parents, Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki. Players will be able to relive a moving story filled with love and bonds as players try to solve a mystery that will lead them to the past of Naruto’s parents.

“Sticking on Chocobi! Collecting Stamp Candy” Is Being Held

Crayon Shinchan Adventure Park, where you can enjoy the world of Crayon Shinchan to the fullest, is hosting a stamp rally event that is very popular among little kids. The event for children of elementary school age and younger, “Sticking on Chocobi! Collecting Stamp Candy“ is a great opportunity for children to collect ”Chocobi Stamps“ at two locations in the attraction and create their own original stamp artwork to receive ”Chocobi,” Shinchan’s favorite food. [Weekends and Holidays Only] Take a photo with Felyne! “Monster Hunter” Greeting at Nijigen no Mori

This is a must-see for Monster Hunter fans! It is a limited meet and greet event on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays featuring that very popular character Felyne at “Monster Hunter the Field,” a very popular attraction at Nijigen no Mori on Awaji Island, Hyogo Prefecture. This event is a tie-up project with the puzzle app “Monster Hunter Puzzle Felyne Island.” Felyne, who is also very popular in the app, finally appears in Nijigeno no Mori. Felyne appears in the free area in front of the “Awaji Meeting Place” attraction reception. You can join the event even if you do not want to experience the attractions, but only use the stores and restaurants. Why don’t you enjoy taking pictures with the too-cute Felyne and create wonderful memories that will stay in your heart?

[Limited time only] Nijigen no Mori x Anime “Demon Slayer” Event Information

“Nijigen no Mori x Anime “Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba)” is a collaborative event with the popular anime “Demon Slayer” that is being held at Nijigen no Mori in Awaji City, Hyogo Prefecture. At this event, visitors can experience the world of the anime in real life through two different experiences, one during the daytime and the other at night. During the daytime, visitors can enjoy the “Mystery Solving Walk: Flower Falling Village and Tour of Phantom Demons” where they can solve the mystery of the demons while touring an area with character panels newly drawn by ufotable. At night, “Night Walk: Trail to Infinite Castle” will be held, where visitors can walk 1.2 km through the forest at night and experience the world of the anime recreated through projection mapping and other techniques.

Nijigen no Mori is simultaneously holding an SNS campaign during the third collaboration event with the Demon Slayer anime.
