The Studio That Takes Movies and Photos with Godzilla
The studio that takes movies and photos with Godzilla is called “Awaji Island Special Effects Studio”. Special Effects Studio is located beyond the Godzilla Museum exhibit hall.
The studio has a diorama set where you can take a movie with Godzilla, including the Godzilla suit used in the 2004 movie “Godzilla FINAL WARS,” and a photo spot where you can take pictures like a movie director with a clapperboard and box horse made by Toho Eizo Art.

Shoot a Movie that Makes You Feel Like You’re the Performer in Godzilla Movie
The movie shot in the special diorama will be incorporated into one scene of the special effects video “Awaji Island Special Effects Studio Original Short Movie” created for this occasion. Participants can get their hands on a one-of-a-kind movie co-starring Godzilla.
Take a Photo that makes You Feel Like You’re the Director of Godzilla Movie
The photo taken in the role of a movie director will be an unforgettable photo featuring professional props set against the backdrop of Godzilla’s movie studio.

Here, visitors of all ages can be the director of their very own Tokusatsu-style video—whether it’s a child bravely battling Godzilla, or a entirely new Godzilla sequel in the making – it’s sure to be an unforgettable memory.
Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind experience—step into the Special Effects Studio at the Godzilla area, and create your own special effects masterpiece at the world’s only permanent Godzilla Museum.
