From Saturday, March 15, 2025, the farm restaurant “Harusan” on Awaji Island be offering two types of spring strawberry sweets made with seasonal strawberries from Awaji Island, which are characterized by their refreshing loveliness.
The two items are “Awaji Island Strawberry Mille-feuille”, a spring-inspired sweet made with plenty of refreshing and cute strawberries, and “Luxury Awaji Island Strawberry and Cherry Blossom Haru-san Parfait”, a special parfait made with jelly containing fresh strawberries and cherry blossom petals.

“Awaji Island Strawberry Mille-feuille with Strawberry Ice Cream” is a dessert where the sweetness of the custard cream and the sourness of the strawberries go perfectly together. The chef’s special pie crust is baked to a crispy aroma, topped with rich and smooth custard cream, and sandwiched with luxurious strawberries from Awaji Island. “Luxurious Awaji Strawberry and Cherry Blossom Spring Parfait” is a parfait that uses fresh strawberries from Awaji Island, which are in season now, a special jelly made with cherry blossom petals, and a luxurious amount of smooth-tasting mascarpone. Haru San San is a farm restaurant that serves unique meals using fresh vegetables and local ingredients grown on the farm. The menu consists of healthy dishes made with plenty of ingredients from the own farm right in front of you. This building was designed by world-renowned architect Shigeru Ban. It is famous for its thatched roof supported by paper tube pillars with an emphasis on sustainability.
