Monster Hunter: The Field

Enter the Monster Hunter universe in Monster Hunter: The Field, an immersive AR experience at Nijigen no Mori. Investigate the wilds, gather items, and battle monsters in this epic attraction.

Save your progress from game to game

At the reception, each Hunter will be given a Hunter’s Proof, and a Hunter’s Note. The Hunter’s Note allows you to save your progress between each playthrough of Monster Hunter: The Field. The more you play, and the better you perform, the more points you’ll contribute to your Hunter Rank! The higher your rank, the bigger the monsters you’ll be able to face.

Field investigation – Items and Palicoes

While not necessary to your battle, it always pays to be prepared!

Gather your companions, and begin your Monster Hunter experience by exploring a 130,000m² area inside Nijigen no Mori. Scattered around the area are item boxes, containing items that will aid in the battle to come. With some items stronger than others, choose your items carefully as you have limited inventory space.

You may even find a Palico to aid you in your fight…

Once you’ve gathered your items, return to the main hub, and begin your first monster battle!

The battle begins

The moment you’ve been waiting for. Step into a large AR environment, where you’ll battle monsters using motion controllers and a body tracking belt. Choose from a selection of four weapons (Greatsword, dual swords, warhammer, or a crossbow) and together with the items you looted, take down a Rathalos with your companions.

Anticipate attack patterns, strike accurately, and dodge attacks. The better you do, the more points you earn towards your Hunter Rank!
