Two Brands of Vintage Sake Awarded Gold and Silver by World “Féminalise” Wine Contest

Premium Vintage Sake Collected by Koshunoya Awarded in Two Consecutive Years!

SEIKAIHA – Koshunoya is a bar and shop specializing in vintage sake, shochu, and plum wine that were selected from more than 100 sake breweries throughout Japan. They are aged more than 10 years, filled with exquisite aroma and flavor.

“2010 Kana” was awarded Gold and “1984 Batsugun” was awarded Silver in the Japanese Distilled Liquor Category in 2022. This is the second time to receive an award for sake entered the contest by Koshunoya.

Concours Mondial des Féminalise” (World “Féminalise” Wine Contest) organized in France is a contest where more than 5000 kinds of wine participate and are judged by 600 women sommeliers, women brewers and women chefs. This contest is said to be one of the top five wine contests in France.

Experience Vintage Sake with Your Five Senses!

A sake brewing by professionals with skills handed down for many generations is a part of Japanese traditional culture. Two brands awarded this year are aged from a raw shochu and have a very mellow taste. “2010 Kana” is a shochu made with black sugar, while “1984 Batsugun” is a shochu made with wheat.
