Amazing Awaji Festival Overview
Time: June 28 (Friday), 2024 to June 30 (Sunday), 2024 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM

This event will allow you to interact with members from over 20 countries through engaging workshops for both adults and children, exciting welcome performances by international artists, and interesting booths showcasing life in Awaji as experienced by foreigners living in the area.

2. Youth Art Gala
Children’s artwork will be collected under the themes of “Arigato” (gratitude) and “Yume ya Kibou” (dream and hopes) for exhibition at the venue. Additionally, we’ve set up an art space where children attending the event can participate and create their artwork. We invite all children to come and join us in expressing their creativity!
We are currently accepting submissions from within Japan to exhibit at the event.
We welcome applications from individuals aged 12 to 17 residing in Japan (as of May 10, 2024) to showcase their artwork.
We are seeking digital art, photography, oil paintings, and more. The application period is until June 7, 2024 (Friday).

3. Dance & Music Performance
Curious about traditional dances and global culture? At the Amazing Awaji festival, you’ll have the opportunity to engage with foreign members from around 20 countries and gain insights into their experiences living on Awaji Island. Additionally, you can enjoy captivating welcome performances by overseas artists, adding an extra layer of cultural exchange and entertainment to the event!

About Awaji Youth Federation
This is a project initiated by the Pasona Group, Inc., offering foreigners the opportunity to pursue their dreams and ambitions on Awaji Island. Currently, 22 members from 19 countries are participating in this nine-month program. Through this opportunity, they engage in various projects and meaningful works and contribute to the vibrant community of Awaji Island.
