From June 20, 2025 (Friday), the dragon of extinction “Nergigante” will appear in the limited-time attraction “Monster Hunter The Field in Nijigennomori” being held at Nijigen no Mori on Awaji Island. In addition, in order to defeat the Extinction Dragon “Nergigante”, participants must be Hunter Rank 3 or higher.
Extinction Dragon “Nergigante” Appears

In this attraction, participants can become new hunters visiting the Awaji Meeting Hall. Each hunter raises their rank by taking on training quests and aims to become a skilled hunter. The training quest consists of two parts: “field exploration” and “large monster subjugation”.
In “Large Monster Subjugation,” players face large monsters on the screen while wearing an action controller and tracking device. Attack large monsters while manipulating weapons using your whole body. Use your whole body to avoid attacks from large monsters. The aim is to defeat large monsters.

You can increase your “Hunter Rank” by defeating many monsters while using your own personal authentication IC tag “Hunter’s ID”. This data will be able to be carried over to the next subjugation.
Until now, the fire dragon “Lioreus”, the thunder wolf dragon “Jinouga”, and the bubble fox dragon “Tamamitsune” have appeared in “Large Monster Subjugation,” but from June 20, 2025, the extinction dragon “Nergigante” will also appear.

To defeat Nergigante this time, you will need Hunter Rank 3 or higher. Along with the appearance of “Nergigante”, many new original goods and collaboration foods will also be released.
Whether you already have a hunter rank in “Monster Hunter the Field” or are trying out monster subjugation for the first time, be sure to be fully prepared and take on the Extinction Dragon.
To all the hunters around the world, the Elder Dragon has finally arrived in Nijigen no Mori. Let’s go monster hunting together to defeat “Nergigante”, who has overwhelming power and destroys himself without worrying about getting hurt.
