From June 4th to September 1st, 2025, the “Mexican Fair” will be held at the American diner and cafe “miele the Diner” on Awaji Island. In the scorching hot summer, a special menu will be available for a limited time that combines the passionate flavors of Mexico with carefully selected ingredients unique to Awaji Island.
Mexican Fair
The Mexican Fair will feature a lineup of spicy Mexican burgers and burritos, as well as nachos that go perfectly with cold drinks to quench your thirst on a hot summer day.
The chili con carne burger is a thick patty topped with spicy chili con carne made from Awaji beef and sandwiched with onions from Awaji Island. The pulled beef burger is topped with plenty of pulled beef that has been tenderly stewed and shredded and topped with salsa.
The burrito (smoked chicken) is made with aromatic smoked chicken, salsa, guacamole, jalapeños, etc. wrapped in a tortilla. The burrito (pulled pork with BBQ sauce) is made by covering tenderly stewed pulled pork with BBQ sauce and wrapping it with sliced Awaji Island onions. The burrito (shrimp and avocado) is wrapped in shrimp and avocado seasoned with Cajun spices.
In the store where summer sunlight and spices intersect, you can enjoy Mexican fair cuisine while looking out at the blue sea, making your hot summer even hotter.
