From April 2, 2025 to May 31, 2025, “Spring Limited Course Meals” will be provided at Tamatebako Restaurant in HELLO KITTY SMILE on Awaji Island.
There are two types of course meals, “Spring Limited Smile Special Course” and “Spring Limited Smile Course”, that uses plenty of spring seasonal ingredients such as “clams” and “spring cabbage.”

There are four main dishes to choose from: “Awaji beef and colorful green pepper stir-fried, “shrimp with chili sauce”, pork and spring cabbage stir-fried with sweet miso”, and “Chinese-style steamed clams”.
Stir-fried Awaji beef and colorful green peppers are a standard main dish. The strong flavor of Awaji beef goes perfectly with the crunchy, colorful vegetables that have been cooked just the right amount.
The shrimp with chili sauce is a mouth-watering dish with the juicy shrimp and the sauce coming together well. The spiciness of the chili sauce is addictive.
The stir-fried pork and spring cabbage with sweet miso is cooked without sacrificing the crunchy texture of the spring cabbage. The sweet miso brings out the subtle sweetness.
Chinese-style steamed clams with steamed clams lets the flavor of the clams, which are in season in spring, melt into the soup. This is a dish with a rich aroma of spices such as ginger.

There are two main dishes: “Fried shrimp with mayonnaise sauce and kadaif” and “Spring cabbage and steamed seafood surimi roll with fava bean sauce.”
“Fried shrimp with mayonnaise sauce and kadaif” is a great combination of the crispy texture of the thin noodle-like batter “kadaif” and the plump texture of the shrimp. The mayonnaise sauce is a nice accent to this dish.
“Spring Cabbage and Seafood Surimi Maki Steamed Broad Bean Sauce” is a dish that makes you feel spring with the bright green color of the broad beans in the sauce and the cherry color of the shrimp. A highly recommended dish with fluffy minced shrimp gently wrapped in spring cabbage.

HELLO KITTY SMILE has two restaurants and a media art area that depicts a fantastic Ryugu Castle where Hello Kitty wearing Otohime’s costume and sea creatures come and go. At the restaurant, you can enjoy healthy single-pot dishes made with ingredients sourced from Awaji Island, fresh seafood grilled from the Seto Inland Sea, and dim sum while looking out at the Harimanada Sea.
Restaurant Tamatebako is a hideaway restaurant for adults where you can enjoy gozen meals and solo hot pots made with carefully selected Awaji and domestic ingredients. There is also plenty of cafe time where you can enjoy latte art and afternoon tea, and the open and dignified space is the perfect place to take a breather.
In addition, a restaurant greeting event where Hello Kitty comes to the restaurant at 12:00 and 17:00 is currently being held. You can take cute photos with Hello Kitty.
