Destoroyah Special Exhibition at Godzilla Interception Operation

From March 13th to December 14th, 2025, the “Destroyar Special Exhibition” will be held at the popular attraction “Godzilla Intercept Operation” in Nijigen no Mori, Awaji Island.

As the final part of the Heisei Godzilla series and the 30th anniversary of Destoroyah’s release, you can enjoy the world of “Godzilla vs. Destoroyah” to the fullest.

Destoroyah Special Exhibition

This is the first time in history that a special exhibition dedicated to “Destroyar” has been planned.

A number of battle scenes in which Godzilla fought Destoroyah with all his might will be on display. Godzilla fans around the world will be able to witness everything about “Destroyar,” known as Godzilla’s most powerful enemy.

Destoroyah is a super-lifeform that fought fiercely against Godzilla while changing its shape throughout the movie. In this special exhibition, we will faithfully recreate the evolutionary process of Destoroyah, from its juvenile form to its aggregate form, flying form, and complete form.

In particular, this will be the first time ever that “Destroyah flying objects” and “Destroyah aggregates” will be exhibited. This is a collection of valuable materials that have rarely been made public.

Valuable design materials that explore the behind-the-scenes of the birth of Destoroyah will be on display.

Fans can enjoy the behind-the-scenes stories that fans are interested in, such as the design process of Destoroyah’s fusion of “devil x insect x dragon”, the attention to detail in its modeling, and the value of Destoroyah’s existence, through sketches from the time of production and unreleased design drawings.

Speaking of “Godzilla vs. Destoroyah”, it is a masterpiece in which Godzilla, on the verge of meltdown, engages in a fierce battle with Destoroyah.

There will be a huge panel display that will bring back memories of such a deadly battle, and a powerful special video featuring famous scenes from the play. There is also an explanation corner of Godzilla’s “red-hot spiral heat ray” and Destoroyah’s special move “Micro Oxygen Cannon”.

The full Destroyar suit and props that were actually used in the filming of the movie will be on display. In addition, there are materials such as theater pamphlets, advertising posters, and film cuts from the time. There is also a corner where you can experience the 1995 Godzilla boom.

In conjunction with the special exhibition, Nijigen no Mori exclusive Destroyar goods will also be on sale. The designs include Burning Godzilla and Destoroyah, whose chest burns red.

Metal badges, trading cards, cork coasters, original T-shirts, tumblers, and more will be on sale. These are must-see products for monster fans.
