The GARDEN Terrace at Hello Kitty’s media art and restaurant “HELLO KITTY SMILE” on Awaji Island will feature original “Tanabata” (Star Festival) music, which will be available only for this event. In addition, “Hello Kitty’s Star Festival,” in which Hello Kitty dances to original Hello Kitty Smile songs and performs on a special stage, will be held for a limited time from June 1 (Sunday).
Awaji Island is just one hour from Osaka and 30 min. from Kobe by car/public transportation. There is a direct ferry from Yumeshima where the Osaka Expo is being held to Awaji Island.

Hello Kitty’s Special Stage with a Star Festival Theme
A special stage based on the concept of “Tanabata (Star Festival)” will be held for a limited time at the GARDEN Terrace during café hours on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays only. This special stage will feature Hello Kitty dancing to the original song “Motto Motto Smile” exclusively made for HELLO KITTY SMILE. In addition, during the performance, visitors will be given origami paper. This origami will be folded into a star shape and decorated on the backdrop during the meet and greet with Hello Kitty to create a one-of-a-kind Milky Way.
