Starting April 16, 2025, the American diner and cafe “miele the DINER” on the west coast of Awaji Island will offer four limited edition cocktails using vintage sake at the American diner on the first floor.
This is a collaboration project with SEIKAIHA restaurant and bar “Koshu no Ya” on the west coast of Awaji Island, which handles rare vintage sake from all over Japan.

Vintage Sake Cocktails
For a limited time only, we use vintage sake that you can’t usually enjoy. We arrange carefully selected rare vintage sake into refreshing, summery cocktails. You can enjoy a slightly more adult resort feel.
Vintage Sake Cocktails comes in the following four types.

Ancient Sake 2007 Awamori (Matsufuji) x Lemon Sour : 890 yen
The richness of rice koji and the gentle sweetness of Yamashimizu from Kin Town, Okinawa, combine to create a rich aroma and a mellow, deep flavor. We have prepared a lemon sour that combines lemon syrup from Awaji Island.
Ancient sake 2003 (Yamabuki) x Highball : 850 yen
It has a fragrant scent like cacao and the exotic scent of cinnamon and cumin. The aroma opens up more at room temperature than when chilled, creating a lingering finish and fullness. This is a dish that goes well with a highball.
Ancient Sake 2009 (Phantom Waterfall) x Mojito : 950 yen
It has a refreshing acidity, a sweet banana-like aroma, and a white wine-like taste. This is aged Ginjo sake. This is a dish that goes well with mojito.
Ancient Sake 2009 (Phantom Waterfall) x Karpishu : 850 yen
It has a refreshing acidity, a sweet banana-like aroma, and a white wine-like taste. This is aged Ginjo sake. This is a dish that combines Calpis.
