Join Us as We Visit the SPY X FAMILY Collaboration Theme Park on Awaji Island!

Join us on an exhilarating adventure as we explore the thrilling collaboration event between Awaji Island’s beloved anime theme park Nijigen no Mori and the popular anime series SPY x FAMILY! We couldn’t resist the opportunity to experience this special occasion firsthand, so we ventured to the park on its opening day.

Now, we’re excited to share all the highlights and excitement of this incredible event with you!

Before we dive into the excitement, let’s take a moment to refresh our memories about the anime. “SPY×FAMILY” created by Tatsuya Endo, debuted in Shonen Jump + in March 2019, captivating audiences with its unique blend of spy comedy and familial dynamics. The anime adaptation’s first season premiered in April 2022, featuring a groundbreaking collaboration between animation powerhouses WIT STUDIO and Cloverworks.

Building on its success, Season 2 aired in October 2023, continuing to delight fans with its intriguing storyline and stellar cast. Now, “SPY×FAMILY” ventures into new territory with its first cinematic release, “The Movie, SPY x FAMILY CODE: White”, recently hitting theaters in Japan.

Hop on the School Bus Inspired by the Anime

Let’s not wait any longer and join us on our adventure to meet Anya & friends. First of all, as usual, we entered Nijigen no Mori, the anime theme park, through the parking F space. Inside, we found a booth where they provided all the necessary information. Afterward, we waited in front of the booth near the bus stop.

The biggest surprise came when the bus arrived! It was designed just like the one Anya rode in the anime! It was adorable and it felt like we were stepping into the anime, riding the bus alongside Anya and her friends!

Take Adorable Pictures with Anya & Friends

The bus took us to the limited-time event SPY x FAMILY flower park. There were countless photo opportunities, including a title sign adorned with flowers and character panels featuring Loid, Anya, Yor, and other beloved characters. We were enchanted by adorable decorations like Anya-shaped flowers, food trucks, and more! We made sure to capture plenty of photos to cherish the memories.

Purchase Limited SPY x FAMILY Goods!

At the shop, we found many SPY x FAMILY merchandise available only at Nijigen no Mori. There was something for everyone, from acrylic stands and keychains to badges, cookies, and crackers. We were pleasantly surprised to find items like flower diffusers and hats, which are not typically available during collaboration events.

Plus, if you spent 2,000 yen or more on original goods, you received a random clear card featuring one of eight unique designs! For fans of SPY x FAMILY, the amount of merchandise featuring characters from the anime feels like paradise!

Don’t Forget to Try the Collaboration Food!

The collaboration food items were another delightful surprise! We discovered a variety of dishes from the food truck and Mori no Terrace restaurant, each featuring motifs inspired by the characters of SPY x FAMILY. From the “Starlight Lunch Box” inspired by the “Stella Stars” to the Sandwich Box representing the spy secret agency WISE, there was something for every appetite.

Let’s not forget the unique drinks, like the milk drink based on Bond, which was a standout favorite among us. We also noticed a takeout menu available, perfect for enjoying with family and friends!

SPY×FAMILY in Nijigen no Mori ~ Heartthrob Maze ~

One of the highlights is the Heartthrob Maze, inviting you to go on an exhilarating mission as a newly recruited agent of the Westalis Intelligence Bureau (WISE). You will be challenged to step into a sprawling maze surrounded by lush vegetation, filled with obstacles and challenges. Your task is to complete three diverse missions within 30 minutes, testing your intellect, physical abilities, and perceptiveness.

We’d love to share more details, but we don’t want to spoil the experience for you. What we can say is that it was more challenging than we expected! We found ourselves running around a lot, but it was incredibly fun!
