The special stage “Hello Kitty Star Festival” featuring Hello Kitty will be held at the restaurant “GARDEN Terrace” of the Multimedia Gallery & Restaurant “HELLO KITTY SMILE” for a total of six times from June 1st to July 6th, 2025, only on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
Participate in Hello Kitty’s mini stage with the theme of “Tanabata” and have fun dancing, greeting, decorating, and taking photos.
Hello Kitty Star Festival
“Hello Kitty Star Festival” is a participatory mini-stage where original songs related to “Tanabata” will appear for a limited time during cafe time held only on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Origami will be presented to all attendees during the performance. Fold origami into a star shape and decorate the scenery with Hello Kitty greetings. Create the only “Milky Way” in the world.
July 7th is Tanabata, a traditional Japanese festival that celebrates the once-a-year encounter between the fairy Orihime and the cowherd Hikoboshi, represented by the stars Vega and Altair, respectively. On Tanabata, people all over Japan celebrate by writing their wishes on small pieces of paper and hanging them on bamboo branches. Decorated with colorful paper streamers, these bamboo decorations are displayed in various places to create a festive atmosphere.
You can take a photo with Hello Kitty along with the completed Milky Way. At the end, everyone will dance to Hello Kitty Smile’s original song “Motto Motto Smile” with Hello Kitty. Let’s pray to the stars for Orihime and Hikoboshi’s reunion. Take a photo with Hello Kitty dressed as Otohime with the Milky Way in the background.
