Cosplayers From All Over the World Will Gather at Nijigen no Mori on December 20

Nijigen no Mori is an anime-themed park located within Nijigennomori Anime Awajishima Park on Awaji Island in Hyogo Prefecture, where you can experience the world of 2D content such as anime, games, and movies in an immersive environment. Awaji Island is just one hour from Osaka, 30 min. from Kobe and 1.5 hours from Kyoto by car or public transportation, much closer than one might think.

Nijigen no Mori will be the event venue for “Awajishima COSPLAY ~Awacos~ Powered by World Cosplay Summit,” a cosplay event to be held on December 20 and organized by WCS Co., Ltd., which organizes the World Cosplay Summit every year to determine the No. 1 cosplayer, with the aim of promoting interaction between cosplayers from Japan and around the world and increasing awareness of Japanese 2D content.

This exciting event will allow you to enjoy cosplay in a space that recreates the world of 2D content using nature and technology, provided by Nijigen no Mori. Photographs will be allowed in the “Large Lawn Square,” which is filled with vast nature, as well as in each attraction: “Crayon Shinchan Adventure Park,” “NARUTO & BORUTO Shinobi-zato,” “Godzilla Interception Operation,” and “Dragon Quest Island”!
Surrounded by nature, this can only be recreated on Awaji Island, so enjoy an unforgettable day as you immerse yourself in a scene from that work or character, and become the person you admire!
