This autumn’s limited menu features “Fried Late-season Pike Conger,” using fatty pike conger from Awaji Island with a special tartar sauce containing “shibazuke (pickles)” and “Fish & Chips,” which is fragrantly grilled pacific saury served with crispy chips. A late-season pike conger is considered as a delicacy in Japan due to its fattiness and rich flavor. Additionally, the menu includes “Fried Chicken with Sweet and Sour Sauce,” made with crispy-fried Awaji chicken and a sweet and sour sauce using locally produced figs and Senzan-brand soy sauce (Awaji Island’s hand-made soy sauce), among other seasonal specialties.
