Starting July 4, 2024, Nijigen no Mori popular attraction Godzilla Interception Operation will hold the 2nd special project “Space Godzilla Special Exhibition” to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Godzilla’s birth. In this special exhibition, you can enjoy the world of “Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla”, which was released in 1994 and is popular among Godzilla fans, with a variety of exhibits.
In particular, the suits that were actually used in the filming of SpaceGodzilla and the ultimate anti-G weapon “M.O.G.E.R.A.” are valuable exhibits that are rarely seen anywhere else in the world. Additionally, there will be a large panel display featuring famous scenes from the movie, as well as an exhibit introducing “Little Godzilla”, who is on par with Godzilla in relation to Space Godzilla, and is sure to be a very exciting project for fans.
This special exhibition will be held until March 2, 2025.
SpaceGodzilla Exhibition Overview
If you are a fan of Godzilla, you must have heard of SpaceGodzilla. It is a monster from the Godzilla franchise, first appearing in the 1994 “Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla”. Created when Godzilla’s cells were exposed to the energy of a black hole, it has a sinister, reptilian appearance with large crystal structures on its shoulders and smaller crystals on its back and tail.
SpaceGodzilla boasts formidable powers, including energy projection from its mouth and shoulder crystals, and telekinesis, making it very powerful. Exciting news for all Godzilla fans: the anime theme park Nijigen no Mori will hold a limited-time SpaceGodzilla Exhibition as part of the “Godzilla 70th Anniversary Special Project”.
