To celebrate Valentine’s Day on February 14th, the island’s talented chefs whip up exciting new desserts to make the most of the world’s favorite berry. Café Scuola has recently announced the return of the event, starting on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024.
Known for optimal soil conditions and the favorable climate of the Seto Inland Sea, Awaji Island yields sweet, sizable strawberries. This delightful dessert is made with the mild sweetness of Awaji’s luscious strawberries. About Café Scuola
Café Scuola is on the 1st floor of “Nojima Scuola“, a shopping and dining complex made from a renovated former elementary school. It offers a diverse range of dining options, shops, and a charming, small zoo. Situated atop a gentle hill on the west coast near the sea, the café has a salad bar featuring fresh morning vegetables from Awaji Island, along with desserts made with seasonal fruits.
The terrace seating designed for dogs and a menu made just for our furry, 4-legged friends makes it ideal for outings with the pooch. Among its popular offerings are set lunches that include a salad buffet, bread, soup, a choice of a main dish, and delightful chiffon sandwiches and parfaits.
