From September 1st to November 30th, 2025, a fall-only afternoon tea is offered at Restaurant Tamatebako in Awaji Island’s media art and restaurant “HELLO KITTY SMILE”.
Afternoon tea will focus on desserts made with autumn fruits, chestnuts, sweet potatoes, pumpkins, etc., and will be sprinkled with cute Hello Kitty decorations.
Autumn Limited Afternoon Tea
The new “Hello Kitty Tamatebako Afternoon Tea” is full of sweets that fill your mouth with the taste of seasonal fruits carefully prepared by the chef.
The top tier is filled with sweets: cheese cream mousse made with seasonal grapes, a roll cake wrapped around sweet potato, and richly flavored chocolate macaroons.
The middle tier is filled with sweets that feature autumn taste: cake layered with juicy pears and grapes, marron cake with the rich flavor of chestnuts, and petite canelés with a crunchy outside and chewy inside.
The bottom tier offers a perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness: tartlet with juicy grapes on crispy dough, and a Pumpkin and Raisin Salad with sweet pumpkin and raisins.

Middle row: Grape and pear cake (with ribbon Monaka)/Marron cake/Petit canelé/Hello Kitty Monaka

HELLO KITTY SMILE has two restaurants and a media art area that depicts a fantastic Palace of Dragon Princess where Hello Kitty wearing Otohime (Dragon Princess)’s costume and sea creatures come and go.
