For a limited time from November 1, 2025 to February 28, 2026, the Japanese restaurant “Aonoya” in SEIKAIHA on Awaji Island will be offering winter limited meals: “3-Year Tiger Pufferfish Gozen” and “Crab Gozen”.
These gozen meals are made with generous amounts of winter seafood. These are popular menu items that will warm you up during the cold months.

You can indulge in the winter delicacies of “3-Year Tiger Pufferfish” and “Crab”, which are perfect for the chilly season. Awaji Island Tiger Pufferfish with an extra year of care yields firmer flesh than standard 2-year pufferfish, developing a deep umami flavor that intensifies with each bite.

With the “Awaji 3-Year Tiger Pufferfish Gozen”, you can enjoy “Awaji 3-Year Tiger Pufferfish”, which is raised in the rough waves of the Naruto Strait and is nearly twice as large as a regular blowfish. Awaji Island Tiger Pufferfish with an extra year of care yields firmer flesh than standard 2-year pufferfish, developing a deep umami flavor that intensifies with each bite. This Gozen is a set meal where you can enjoy a variety of dishes that make the most of the flavor of the 3-year pufferfish to your heart’s content, such as “Sushi” and “Tessa (sashimi)” made with the firm and thick meat of the 3-Year Tiger Pufferfish, and “Tecchiri Nabe (hotpot)” which is full of delicious flavor.

“Kani Gozen” uses all Matsuba crab from the Tango region, which can only be caught in the winter in northern Kyoto. Matsuba crab is lively and has a rich flavor, so pairing it with vinegared rice gives it a refreshing taste. It’s a set meal full of crab, including crab hotpot soaked in crab soup and crab chawanmushi (egg custard).
