This year marks Hello Kitty’s 50th anniversary! Since last year, many of Hello Kitty’s friends, including Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin, and My Melody, have joined the celebrations at Hello Kitty attractions on Awaji Island. Now, another beloved friend, Pochacco, is set to visit this September.
Let’s Welcome the Adorable Pochacco!
Pochacco, a beloved character who ranked 2nd in this year’s Sanrio Character Ranking, will be the fourth Sanrio special guest to visit Awaji Island! Curious, clumsy, and fond of taking walks, Pochacco, a male dog character, is a fan favorite.
He will be visiting the Hello Kitty-themed show and restaurant “HELLO KITTY SHOW BOX,” as well as the media art restaurant “HELLO KITTY SMILE,” on September 8th only. On this special day, you’ll have the unique opportunity to greet Hello Kitty and Pochacco together and even take a commemorative photo.

HELLO KITTY SHOW BOX
HELLO KITTY SHOW BOX features a theater concept where you can enjoy a Hello Kitty jazz performance while dining on a Hello Kitty-themed vegan dish. Additionally, there’s a shop upstairs offering limited-edition Sanrio goods. You can even meet Hello Kitty herself!

Time: Doors open at 11:00 AM, show starts at 12:00 PM, and ends at 1:00 PM

Guests who have purchased a ticket for these shows will have the exclusive opportunity to greet Hello Kitty and Pochacco. You can also take a photo with your own camera (one pose per group), making this a truly special memory.

This mini theme park immerses you in the world of Hello Kitty with stunning media art projection mapping, making you feel like you’re inside the adorable character’s universe. Inside, you’ll also find restaurants where you can meet Hello Kitty herself.
Hello Kitty and Pochacco Greeting appearance at the “GARDEN Terrace” restaurant and the “Restaurant Tamatebako”
Time: Starting at 5:30 PM, visiting each restaurant in turn.
Guests who have purchased a special greeting ticket will have the exclusive opportunity to greet Hello Kitty and Pochacco. You can also take a photo with your own camera, making this a truly unforgettable experience.
