Historically known as “Miketsukuni” (“Land of Food”), Awaji Island once supplied agricultural produce and seafood to the imperial court in ancient Japan. Blessed with rich soil, abundant surrounding seas, and a mild climate, the island continues to be celebrated for its exceptional ingredients today. Savor sweet onions, fresh seafood, and premium wagyu prepared to perfection at restaurants across the island.

Escape the Crowds, Find the Real Japan

Awaji Island is where ocean views, flower fields, anime worlds, and quiet coastal roads exist in one place. Just outside Osaka and Kobe, it feels like discovering a secret side of Japan before everyone else does.

FAQ

The Awaji Island Gourmet Feast Set is a special KKday package that combines two things: an admission ticket to one Nijigen no Mori attraction of your choice, and ¥5,000 in vouchers to spend across Awaji Island’s west coast facilities. It is a separate plan from standalone Nijigen no Mori tickets — the vouchers are exclusive to this package.

Your plan includes one attraction ticket of your choice from four options:

  • NARUTO&BORUTO SHINOBI-ZATO,
  • Godzilla Interception Operation,
  • Dragon Quest Island,
  • Crayon Shinchan Adventure Park

Each attraction is a fully immersive anime and pop-culture experience set within Nijigen no Mori, an anime theme park on Awaji Island.

Yes. The ¥5,000 vouchers are a part of the Gourmet Feast Set package — they are not sold separately. When you purchase the Gourmet Feast Set, you receive both your attraction ticket and ¥5,000 in vouchers in one booking. Standalone attraction tickets are also available on KKday, but these do not include the vouchers.

Vouchers are valid at these partner facilities on Awaji Island’s west coast:

  • Nijigen no Mori (restaurants)
  • Zenbo Seinei
  • HELLO KITTY SMILE
  • HELLO KITTY SHOW BOX
  • Aman no Shokutaku
  • Auberge “French Forest”
  • Oh-SOBAR
  • Nojima Scuola
  • miele
  • Ocean Terrace
  • SEIKAIHA
  • CRAFT CIRCUS
  • Haru San San

Many of them feature magnificent ocean views.
The full list of venues will also be sent to you by email after you purchase the KKday plan.

Your vouchers become active on the day of your visit to Nijigen no Mori and remain valid through the following day. This gives you two days to explore the island’s west coast facilities at your own pace — visit on the same day or return the next day for a second round of your discovery.

Yes. The ¥5,000 vouchers can be used collectively by a group. For example, one person can purchase the Gourmet Feast Set (receiving the attraction ticket and vouchers), while others in the group purchase standalone Nijigen no Mori tickets. The whole group can then spend the vouchers together at partner facilities across the island.

Yes — you are not required to spend the full ¥5,000 in one place. You can use your vouchers across multiple partner venues over a two-day validity window, making it easy to enjoy lunch at one spot, then unwind with coffee and sweets at an oceanside café or a drink at an aged sake bar in the evening.

The plan can be booked only through KKday, Japan’s leading experiences platform. Select your preferred Nijigen no Mori attraction, choose your visit date, and complete your purchase. Your ticket and plan details — including the full list of partner facilities — will be sent to you by email. Tickets must be booked for a specific date in advance.

The Awaji Island Gourmet Feast Set is available until 24 September 2026. After this date, the Gourmet Feast Set with vouchers will no longer be offered. Plan your visit and book early — availability is limited per date.

Nijigen no Mori is generally open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, though hours vary by season and attraction. Before your visit, check the current schedule on the KKday page, the Nijigen no Mori official website, or our Nijigen no Mori facility page for the most up-to-date opening hours.

Yes — there is a free shuttle bus connecting key locations across Awaji Island, making it easy to move between Nijigen no Mori and the west coast facilities without a rental car. Full route maps, stop locations, and the current timetable are available on our Access Information page. We recommend checking the schedule before your visit, as timings may vary by season.
