Awaji Chef’s Garden by PASONA is a popular outdoor eatery located in the northwestern part of Awaji Island. The facility brings together well-known food vendors from across Japan, offering a wide variety of food and desserts made with local ingredients. With approximately 30 different restaurants housed within the facility, there is something for everyone.
Enjoy your meal or a sweet treat on the 600-seat patio that overlooks the Seto Inland Sea. With colorful container restaurants, a green lawn, palm trees, and parasol seating, the facility gives off bright resort vibes, perfect for a sunny day.
The location was voted one of Japan's “Top 100 Sunsets,” making it a great place to enjoy dinner or an evening treat with friends, family, or a date. Mix and match dishes from different vendors to experience everything Chef’s Garden has to offer.
"Awaji Chef’s Garden by PASONA" is the successor to "Awaji Chef Garden," an outdoor restaurant that operated on the east coast of Awaji Island until November 2022. The containers were relocated to the new west coast location, which opened in April 2023.

Kishimen from the popular Hoshigaoka Seimenjo restaurant in Nagoya has made its return to Awaji Chef’s Garden by PASONA. Kishimen is a type of wide udon noodle dish that is very famous in Nagoya. The noodles are flat, glutinous, stretchy, and served in a savory broth.
The restaurant's concept is "Just Delicious Kishimen for Everyday Life." At this special location, the kishimen is made with select Awaji Island ingredients. Enjoy these slippery, chewy, refreshing noodles.
