NARUTO x Traditional Japanese Craft Experiences at Nijigen no Mori

If you’ve visited this website before, you probably know about the Naruto & Boruto Shinobi-zato theme park on Awaji Island. Here, you can relive your Naruto childhood with exciting activities like scroll missions, practicing hand seals, and taking photos with Naruto statues.

The popular four traditional craft experiences at the indoor Shinobi-zato Workshop will be available until July 21st (Sun) as a part of “Naruto & Boruto Samidare (Rainy) Festival”. They are perfect indoor activities during the rainy season and hot summer in Japan.

“Back by Popular Demand! Indoor Japanese Craft Experiences”

Event Period: Until July 21, 2024

Business Hours: 11:00 AM ~ 4:00 PM (last entry at 3:30 PM)

Fee: Varies depending on each experience
*A separate attraction admission ticket is required.

Place: Shinobi-zato Workshop inside “Naruto & Boruto Shinobi-zato”

Content: Four craft experiences that were popular in the past will be revived for the rainy season only: “Scented Sachet Making”, “Hairpin Making”, “Paper Lantern Making”, and “Incense Making”. Each craft requires approximately 30 min. to complete.

<Scented Sachet Making Experience/500 yen (tax included)>
Choose one of eight limited-edition drawstring bags featuring a character design, then mix your selection out of over 10 different fragrances to create a unique scented sachet.

<Ornamental Hairpin Making Experience / 1,000 yen (tax included)>

Choose one of three designs and decorate it to your liking with pearls, beads, and more. The hairpin features a floral pattern inspired by a “NARUTO” character motif, making it easy to use in everyday life.

<Paper Lantern Making Experience / 500 yen (tax included)>

This craft event allows you to create your own original design on a Japanese-style “lantern”, perfect for the Shinobi-zato (village). You can use your custom lantern while exploring the village or take it home to enjoy as an interior decoration.

<Incense Making Experience / 500 yen (tax included)>
Set on Awaji Island, Japan’s largest incense-producing area, this craft event lets you combine fragrances, essential oils, dyes, and molds to create your own unique incense. There are 10 molds available, including the “Konohagakure Village mark”, “Uchiha family crest”, and “Akatsuki mark”, unique to Naruto & Boruto Shinobi-zato. This is the only event where you can enjoy a “NARUTO” x incense craft experience.
