“The Ladybird Road”, a seaside mall with 14 shops/restaurants, is now open on the west coast of Awaji Island. In addition to restaurants offering Japanese cuisine such as ramen, kushiage (fried skewed food), sushi and obanzai (Kyoto-style home cooking), there is a shop/cafe specializing in vegan chocolates called Vie Chocolat. There are also markets where you can buy fresh produce harvested locally and goods made with locally-sourced items.
