From July 19th to August 31st, 2025, a “handmade incense experience” will be held as a summer craft experience at the popular attraction “NARUTO & BORUTO Shinobi-Zato” in Nijigen no Mori, Awaji Island.
On Awaji Island, known as the “Island of Fragrance”, you can make your own incense that is unique in the world.
Summer Craft Experience “Handmade Incense Experience”
The setting is Awaji Island, which is one of Japan’s leading incense producing regions and accounts for 70% of the nation’s incense production. You can create your own incense by combining fragrances, essential oils, dyes, and molds.
There are three types of molds: “Konohagakure no Sato mark”, “Uchiha clan family crest”, and “Akatsuki no Kumo”, which are only available here. Create a scent that suits your tastes, solidify it in your favorite mold, and create your one-of-a-kind incense.
The completed incense can be taken home as a memory of Awaji Island.
A unique experience that combines traditional craftsmanship with modern anime culture. As we approach the hot summer again this year, let’s enjoy some memorable craft experiences in a cool room once in a while.
