Awaji Island with beautiful nature and significant local culture offers various activities that you should not miss.
Immersive Experience at NIJIGEN NO MORI for All Ages
NIJIGEN NO MORI, an anime theme park located at Hyogo Prefectural Awaji Island Park, is a paradise for those who love Japanese anime, games and pop culture. The entire park is divided into areas dedicated specifically to one anime/game/icon such as NARUTO & BORUTO, Dragon Quest, Crayon Shinchan, Godzilla and a few more time-limited attractions based on a popular anime like Monster Hunter.
Experience and Find Out More about Godzilla, an Iconic Figure
At Godzilla Interception Operation, a zipline entering the life-size Godzilla’s jaw is thrilling but not scary, enjoyable for both grownups and children. In addition, there is a shooting attraction where you aim at Godzilla cells to stop them from growing.
Another feature that is outstanding is the world’s first permanent museum dedicated to Godzilla. The Godzilla Museum is co-created with Toho Visual Art Company, the creator of Godzilla, as it showcases over 100 exhibits, including iconic costumes, props, and production art from various Godzilla films. If you are a Godzilla fan, you cannot miss this great opportunity to go through a cinematic history of Godzilla.
