The Eco-friendly Cafe-restaurant that Serves Dishes made Mainly from Fresh Vegetables

Haru San San is an eco-friendly cafe restaurant located in a farm on Awaji Island. The building is a sustainable structure designed by world-renowned architect Shigeru Ban.

Masayuki Okuda, who has been selected as one of the top 1000 chefs in the world, and Nobuaki Fushiki, a specialist in fermented cuisine, have teamed up to create locally produced dishes for local consumption.

The menu will feature freshly harvested vegetables from our own farm and Awaji Island, bringing out the flavor of local ingredients. You can enjoy meals that are both healthy and environmentally friendly.

Sustainable Architecture

The Haru San San building is a sustainable building supervised by architect Shigeru Ban, winner of the Pritzker Prize, one of the most prestigious awards in the architecture industry.The design is environmentally friendly and utilizes renewable materials.

The roof material is made of kaya, which can be reused as compost. The pillars are made of paper tubes made from recycled paper. It is a location full of nature surrounded by our own farm. The floor creates a space that is kind to people and the earth in harmony with nature.

Vegetable-based Dishes

Haru San San's cuisine is made with plenty of ingredients nurtured by Awaji Island's rich nature, with a focus on fresh vegetables from our own farm.

Masayuki Okuda, who was selected as one of the ``1000 Chefs of the World,'' and Nobuaki Fushiki, a specialist in fermented cuisine, have teamed up to supervise the cooking.

Dishes that make the most of fresh vegetables from our own farm, agricultural products and seafood grown in the rich natural environment, bring out the original flavor and charm of the ingredients to the fullest.

Popular lunch and sweets

For lunch, popular sets include salads made with more than 10 types of seasonal vegetables grown in the company's own fields or on Awaji Island, soups with plenty of seasonal vegetables, freshly baked homemade bread, and main dishes. For the main dish, you can choose from Awaji Island's original fresh pasta, meat dishes, and vegetable dishes.

Sweets made with seasonal fruits and vegetables are popular. There are also original drinks made with whole fruits. All of our delicious dishes are made with plenty of freshly picked fruit.
