This summer, festivals from all over Japan will be gathering on Awaji Island! Omatsuri Expo in Awaji Island

Dance! Eat! Connect! “Omatsuri Expo in Awajishima” gives attendees a unique chance to experience the sights and sounds of rich Japanese traditions all in one place. Witness powerful Taiko Drums and cultural dances from all over Japan!

Every day will feature new stage performances highlighting different aspects of Japanese culture and festivals.

Every evening features energetic performances like Awa Odori by the famed “Aho-ren” troupe, traditional dances from around the world, and interactive Bon Odori that everyone can join!

Join in traditional mikoshi (portable shrine) experiences and explore vibrant festivals from all over Japan, all in one spot! Don’t miss the colorful photo spots with 120 flying carp streamers and 90 glowing fish lanterns.

■If you are driving, please use the parking lot in Yumebutai Sustainable Park Parking Lot. (Parking fee: 1,000 yen per day)

 

■For those arriving by Bus: Board at the express bus at JR Shin-Kobe Station, JR Sannomiya Station, or JR Maiko Station. Get off at the “Seirei Awaji Hospital-mae” bus stop , and walk 3 minutes.

 

 

■For those who arrive on Awaji from the Awaji Genoa Line high-speed ferry: Take the “Awakami Awahime Bus” from Iwaya Port, get off at the bus stop “Seirei Awaji Hospital-mae”, and walk 3 minutes.
