“CRAFT Expo ~JAPAN CRAFT SAKE~” to Be Held from August 1 to 3, 2025 on Awaji Island

Awaji Island located in the Seto Inland Sea is a popular resort filled with beautiful nature, gourmet local food, Japanese culture and mythological history. The island is just one hour from Osaka and 30 min. from Kobe by car/public transportation. Awaji Island is also well-known for an anime-themed park, Nijigennomori Anime Awajijima Park.

Awaji Island’s summer will be even more exciting with delicious craft sake and music this year.
CRAFT Expo ~JAPAN CRAFT SAKE~, a highly anticipated event bringing together 13 craft breweries and sake breweries from across Japan, will be held in August 2025 at Awaji Yumebutai. Why not come and discover the flavors of the region and create special summer memories in the beautiful natural surroundings of Awaji Island?

Fees for Drinks

3,000 yen in advance, 4,000 yen on the day of the event
* The above price include 5 cups of drinks with an event original cup. The tickets are only for drinks.
* Food has to be paid separately.
* Admission to the event venue is free.

>GARCIA BREWING (Shizuoka)
The world’s first quinoa beer, brewed by a Peruvian brewer. The balance between aroma and fruitiness is exquisite.
>OKAYAMA JIMTO BEER 086 (Okayama)
A beer inspired by local pride, named after the city’s area code “086.” It has won gold and silver medals at international beer competitions.
>CHORYO Craft Beer (Nara)
A Japanese-style craft beer brewed in Yoshino cedar barrels. IPA (India Pale Ale) and lager are also popular.
>Golden Rabbit Beer (Nara)
A high-quality beer made with Nara-grown wheat and rice, carrying on the tradition of this famous sake-producing region.
>SOUTH HORIZON BREWING (Kochi)
An IPA bursting with citrus aroma. A brewery that won a bronze medal at a world competition.
>Blue Wood Brewery (Wakayama)
A wide variety of fruit beers made with local ingredients such as mandarin oranges, plums, and Japanese pepper.
>TAISETSU BEER (Asahikawa, Hokkaido)
A refreshing beer made with spring water from Mt. Daisetsu and Hokkaido malt.
>Ogoshi Beer (Kagawa)
A “saison-style” beer (southern Belgium-style beer) made with Setouchi lemons. Perfect for summer with its light taste.
>Tango Kingdom Brewery (Kyoto)
Made with 100% fresh hops. Many popular brands with princess-themed labels.
>Kotokoto Beer (Kizukawa, Kyoto)
Craft beer with a gentle taste brewed by a female brewer.
>KYOTO NUDE BREWERY (Kyoto)
A new style of craft beer with low alcohol content that fits into everyday life.
>52’s Brewing Exploration (Kyoto)
A challenge from the age of 52. Draft beer brewed with a lifetime of dedication is gaining attention.
>Renton, Bosco (Italy)
Authentic Italian beer made with natural water from the Dolomite Mountains.
>Choukyu, Kii-kuniyama Bunzaemon (Wakayama)
Plum wine and aged sake made with plums from Kii Province. Also famous for the sake “Kii-kuniyama Bunzaemon.”
>Fukujin (Hyogo)/Wakatsuru Shuzo (Toyama)
Traditional and innovative sake and whiskey. A wide range of alcoholic beverages are available here.
>Takumi Sosei (Awaji, Hyogo)
Offers the “Inishie no Bishu” series of aged sake brands. Enjoy the deep flavor of long-aged sake.
>Tonzo Brewing (Kagawa)
Offers six types of craft beer, including “Kotohira Kölsch,” which has a light flavor and a fragrance reminiscent of white wine.

From Kobe/Osaka by Car

Take the Hanshin Expressway and Second Shinmei Road, then switch to the Kobe-Awaji-Naruto Expressway. Exit at Awaji IC and drive south on National Route 28 for 5 minutes.

From Tokushima by Car

Take the Kobe-Naruto Expressway, exit at Higashiura IC, and drive north on National Route 28 for approximately 10 minutes.

For Those Taking the Express Bus

Express buses (Honshi-Kaikyo bus “Oiso”) depart from the bus terminals at JR Shin-Kobe Station, JR Sannomiya Station, and JR Maiko Station.
Get off at the “Seirei Awaji Hospital” bus stop and walk for 3 minutes to reach the venue.
*Please note that the destination of buses may vary depending on the schedule, so please confirm the stop before boarding.

For Those Taking a Ferry

You can take a high-speed Jenova ferry from Akashi Port, which is 10 min. walk from JR Akashi Station. Once you arrive at Iwaya Port on Awaji Island, you need to take an Awaji Island’s local bus, Awashin Awahime Bus, clockwise to “Seirei Awaji Hospital” stop.
